After a very successful long standing partnership, Flogas have added the Flogas Irish Boys’ Amateur Open Championship to their sponsorship portfolio as they extend their partnership with Golf Ireland for three more years.

Ballybunion golfer, Emma O’Driscoll, was joined by Matt McClean (Malone) at the announcement in the Golf Ireland Academy, Carton Demesne, on Monday.

The energy supplier will continue their support for amateur golf in Ireland, with the Flogas Irish Men’s Amateur Open Championship, the Flogas Irish Women’s Amateur Open Championship, the Flogas Irish Girls’ Amateur Open Championship and the Flogas Irish Mixed Foursomes remaining under their sponsorship.

The inaugural Flogas Irish Boys’ Amateur Open Championship tees off at Ballybunion on Wednesday 3 April and Golf Ireland CEO, Mark Kennelly, is delighted to have extended the partnership with Flogas.

“The addition of the Flogas Irish Boys’ Amateur Open Championship signifies another major step forward in our journey with Flogas. This partnership renewal underscores our shared commitment to nurturing Ireland’s young golf talent,” said Golf Ireland CEO, Mark Kennelly.

Flogas have also become Golf Ireland’s sustainability partner, as they continue to invest in the future of the game in Ireland, and Flogas Ireland Managing Director, John Rooney, is thrilled to provide the continued sponsorship.
