Stuart Grehan will take a whopping nine shot lead into the final round of the Toro Tour at the Atalaya New Course after he bettered his opening 63 with a sizzling 62.

Grehan is the runaway leader on seventeen-under-par through 36 holes, with Karl McCormack in a three-way share of second place on eight-under.

The Tullamore man is yet to drop a shot this week and carded two eagles during his round.

Grehan opened with four successive pars before eagling the par-4 5th hole. He added a birdie on the seventh before a birdie on 14 kickstarted a sensational finishing stretch.

Grehan eagled the par-4 15th before finishing with three successive birdies to play his final five holes in six-under-par.
