Naas man Robert Brazill shares second place after day one of the Toro Tour La Hacienda Alcaidesa.
On a tough day for scoring, the former West of Ireland winner carded a one-over 73, which leaves him five shots behind Sebastian Desoisa.
It was a mixed bag for Brazill who birdied the second, bogeyed the seventh and birdied the ninth.
He dropped shots at the eleventh, fourteenth and seventeenth before a crucial closing birdie meant he kept on the coattails of Desoisa.
