Two birdies in her last four holes helped Emma O’Driscoll claw herself back into contention heading into the final round of the Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open Championship.

O’Driscoll lies on three-over after rounds of 73 and 74 and she is just three shots behind Irish Women’s Champion Lorna McClymont (Scotland) and Sweden’s Eoin Pudas Remler.

The Ballybunion woman found herself four-over after as many holes after opening her second round with back-to-back bogeys and a double on the par-3 4th. A birdie on 9 briefly stopped the bleeding as she turned in 38.

Jessica Ross is in a share of 22nd place on nine-over after rounds of 74 and 79 while Kate Dwyer is +13 after rounds of 81 and 76.

Ellen O’Gorman is back on seventeen-over with Clodagh Coughlan two shots further back.
