Irish golf clubs are being encouraged to sign up for the St. James’s Place National Pro-Am Championship with seven Regional Finals deciding a 12-team field for a Grand Final like no other at the five-star PGA National Turkey, Antalya Golf Club.

Open to both male and female amateurs aged 18 or over and based at a golf club in the UK or Ireland, the competition pairs PGA Professionals with an amateur from their club to embark on a unique golfing journey.

Amateurs who win their club’s qualifying round will be able to partner their PGA Professional at one of seven spectacular Regional Finals with Seapoint Golf Links (pictured below) playing host to the Irish qualifier on August 28th. If successful there, the next stage is an all-expenses paid trip to Turkey for the Grand Final.

PGA Professionals will compete for a slice of a £41,000 prize fund, with the winning pro taking home £10,000.

The 2023 event will once again be sponsored by St. James’s Place, one of the UK’s leading providers of financial, investment and tax planning advice, while OCEANTEE return as the tournament’s official supplier.

“We are thrilled to be working with St. James’s Place once again and we thank them for their ongoing support as title sponsor of one of The PGA’s most prestigious and long-standing events.”

“We are excited to continue our support of all the competitors embarking on this journey and are looking forward to working closely with The PGA to expand and grow the tournament in the years to come.”
