It’s been another trophy-laden weekend for the Keeling family after Patrick followed up Sean’s Scottish Boys win with victory at the Rosapenna Senior Scratch Cup supported by McGinley Motors and Volvo Cars.

The tournament was reduced from 36 to 27 holes due to a morning frost delay and Keeling was the only player to break par as his two-under total was enough for a three-shot win.

The Roganstown starlet shot one-under on the Sandy Hills course in the morning before completing nine holes of the Old Tom Morris layout in one-under for a 106 stroke total.

Rory Leonard and Ceri Fearnley shared second place on one-over (209).

Keeling is coached by the well renowned Geoff Loughrey and his stablemate Hugh Foley shared third place on plus two (110) with Thomas Beaumont.

It’s Keeling’s third win of 2023 having picked up the Murcia Open and Lo Romero Open.
