Sean Keeling shot a second successive one-under 70 to lie in second place at the halfway stage of the Scottish Boys Open Championship.

The Roganstown is three shots shy of Germany’s Jingchen Feng.

Keeling started fast with two birdies in five holes before a bogey, birdie run closed out his front nine.

The teenager was cruising after a birdie on 11 before back-to-back bogeys on 14 and 15 dropped him back to two-under-par.

Sam Allister and Eager Finlay missed the cut on nine and ten-over respectively.
