Paul Conroy continued his superb year with a runner-up finish at Chattanooga romped to a record-breaking 30 stroke victory at the Wofford Invitational.

Chattanooga finished on forty-three-under through 54 holes thanks to a final round of nineteen-under.

Conroy was part of a two-horse race with teammate John Houk for the individual title and he closed with a blistering final round of 63 to grab second spot as Houk held on for a two-shot win.

The Enniscorthy man got off to a sensational start making the turn in 29 including a bogey on the sixth!

Conroy opened with three successive birdies before adding two more on the fifth and seventh holes. An eagle two on the par-4 9th and a birdie on 10 took him to seven-under through ten holes.

Late birdies on 16 and 17 maintained his charge for a second win of the season but a closing bogey saw him settle for second place on fifteen-under and his third top-3 finish.

Meanwhile ULM’s Rory Milne capped off a solid week at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational with a share of 13th place.

Milne shot a final round of 70 (-2) for a one-under 54 hole total.

Mark Power finished 24th in the Calusa Cup as Wake Forest claimed second place.
