Donegan continues fine form at Clemson Invitational

Aine Donegan finished in a share of 14th place at the Clemson Invitational as LSU narrowly missed out on the team title.

Donegan carded rounds of 71, 71 and 73 for a one-under total, just four shots behind teammate and eventual winner Ingrid Lindblad.

The Lahinch woman started quickly with three birdies in her opening five holes.

She was unable to continue in that vein of form with bogeys on 7 and 10 winer side of a double on the par-4 9th.

Meanwhile in the Ping/ASU Invitational, Kirkistown Castle’s Beth Coulter secured a T-11 finish with a one-over total.

Coulter shot rounds of 73, 70 and 74 for the Sun Devils as she continues to get more and more comfortable with her new surrounds at Arizona State.
