Royal Dublin’s Max Kennedy posted his fifth successive top-10 finish this year at the All American Intercollegiate.

Kennedy settled for a share of third place on five-under, just two shots shy of winner Jake Hall of Tennessee.

Successive rounds of 69 had the Dubliner just one shot off the lead after 36 holes but a one-over 73 saw him shoot a 54-hole total of five-under.

A double bogey on the tenth proved costly for the Louisville man at the Golf Club of Houston who also dropped shots on the third, ninth and eighteenth.

Kennedy did pick up a birdie on the eighth and recovered from his double bogey with three birdies in five holes to move within one.

Louisville led by eight shots in the team leaderboard but a combined round of five-over saw them finish four shots back of Ole Miss on five-under-par.

The Cardinals return to the course on April 10-11 at the Aggie Invitational in College Station, Texas.
