Royal Dublin’s Max Kennedy continued his red-hot form to fire himself to within striking distance of the lead at the All-American Intercollegiate.
The Dubliner posted successive rounds of 69 on Monday for a six-under tally after dropping just three shots across 36-holes at the 7,425-yard Golf Club of Houston.
That puts him in third place and just one shot back of Santiago De La Feunte of Houston and Jake Hall of Tennessee who sit atop the individual board at seven-under par.
The 36th-ranked University of Louisville men’s golf team holds an eight-shot lead after two rounds of action having carded a 10-under-par 278 in the first round and an even-par 288 second round.
Much of that is to do with Kennedy who is riding a streak of three-top 10 finishes and is very much on pace for his first career win.
The All-American will conclude today [Tuesday].
9 am ET start for all five Cards as we look for the team and individual titles!
