Rising stars from around the world are set to tee it up at the new Korea Championship, and fans can now buy tickets at a special early price through the Interpark ticketing site here.

DP World Tour and KPGA stars will tee it up at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon from April 27-30 and some of the most exciting young players from both Tours have confirmed they will be part of the international field, as the DP World Tour returns to Korea for the first time in ten years.

Danish twins Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard have enjoyed a remarkable start to their DP World Tour careers, with the 22 year old duo racing to five wins between them, while 21-year-old Kim Min-kyu will be aiming for more success on home soil after winning his first Korean Tour event at the Kolon Korea Open last year.

They will be joined at the Korea Championship by 26-year-old Robert MacIntyre, who boasts two DP World Tour wins, and has quickly established himself as Scotland’s number one player.

Nicolai Højgaard, who starred in the winning Continental Europe side at the Hero Cup in January said: “I’ve had a good start to the year so far, including a top five finish at the Thailand Classic last month, and I’m looking forward to coming back to Asia again and playing in Korea for the first time.”

Kim Min-kyu made history in Europe at the 2018 D+D Real Czech Challenge, becoming the youngest ever winner on the European Challenge Tour aged just 17 years and 64 days.

He said: “It was a proud moment to win in Korea last year, and it’s great to have the chance to challenge for another title at home alongside KPGA and DP World Tour players.”

MacIntyre’s most recent win came at Marco Simone Golf Club – the venue for the 2023 Ryder Cup – and like the Højgaard twins, the talented young Scot is aiming to make his debut for Team Europe this September.

He said: “This will be the first time I have played in Korea, and these new opportunities add to an exciting year on the DP World Tour, with a lot to play for.”

A representative from KPGA stated: “There is already a lot of excitement and anticipation for the upcoming Korea Championship and we hope that many fans will come to the event to witness the KPGA Korean Tour and DP World Tour players in action.”

General admission tickets and ticket packages for the Korea Championship are on sale now on the Interpark ticketing page here.
