Lauren Walsh carded a second round 71 to lie best of the Irish on the individual standings at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.

Walsh sits in a tie for 14th place after her 3 birdie, 2 bogey haul on day two and finds herself just six shots off the leaders at two-over par and helping her Wake Forest team to 6th in the team standings.

Lahinch’s Aine Donegan birdied two of her last three holes and is next best of the Irish in T20th individually after a round of 70 left her two shots adrift of Walsh at four-over with her LSU team sitting in 2nd overall.

Unfortunately Kirkistown’s Beth Coulter couldn’t keep up her scoring from day one and fell to a second round 77 with two double bogeys and three bogeys on her back nine doing most of the damage and she now finds herself down the leaderboard in T35 on six-over while her ASU team is tied with Walsh’s Wake Forest in 6th.

Meanwhile Anna Foster added a 76 to her opening 74 for an overall 8-over par total and she is in T54 position with Auburn in third on the team standings.
