Foster recovered from an opening double bogey to post a one-under 71.

The Elm Park golfer carded birdies on the second, third and sixth before a bogey on the par-5 9th saw her turn in level.

After her second bogey on a par-5 this time the 11th, Foster finished strongly with two birdies in her last four holes to climb into a share of 3rd place with Wake Forest star Rachel Kuehn.
