Keeling shares amateur prize on European Pro Golf Tour

Sean Keeling continued to win all around him as he claimed a share of the amateur prize at the La Serena Classic in the European Pro Golf Tour.

The Roganstown starlet carded a three-over 75 to finish on two-under-par alongside Slovakia’s Jake Babnik who shot a 69.

Keeling closed with an eagle for the second successive round to grab a share of the lead after a difficult final day where he carded six bogeys and a double bogey.

The teenager carded another eagle on the par-5 7th with his only birdie arriving on the par-3 15th.

His brother Patrick finished in fourth place on five-over after a 74.

Gweedore’s Padraic O’Dochartaigh was eighth on plus twelve while Roganstown duo Charlie Kelly and Ted Jago Byrne were tenth on fifteen-over.

Jonathan Caldwell was third overall on three-under after a level-par 72.
