Sean Keeling is at it again; the Roganstown talent just one shot off the lead in the overall while racing clear in the amateur section of the latest European Pro Golf tour event at La Serena.
The transition year student added a one-under par 71 to his opening 68 to sit at five-under par with a round to play, one back of PGA pro Mike Toorop’s lead.
Three birdies and an eagle contributed to this latest classy showing from Keeling who sits two shots ahead of Clandeboye’s Jonny Caldwell who’s edging closer to his Challenge Tour seasonal bow.
Keeling is six shots clear of Jaka Babnik in the amateur section, the only player under par ahead of the final day.
Sean’s brother Patrick is in a tie for 10th place overall after rounds of 74 and 73 left him at three-over par.
