There’s no show like a golf show and that spells good news for Ireland with confirmation that the inaugural Irish Golf Show is coming to Weston Airport in Dublin on March 31 and April 1.

The two-day festival of golf will feature the leading brands from across the industry, showcasing the best equipment, technology and travel in a one-stop shop for Irish golfers.

Whether you’re new to the game, a wily veteran or just looking for a family day out, the Irish Golf Show promises something for everyone, including a live band and fantastic food and drinks available at the bar and restaurant at Weston Airport, which has just undertaken an extensive multi-million euro redevelopment.

The Irish Golf Show will be an interactive experience like no other, offering all visitors the chance to test out the latest new gear from the game’s leading suppliers. With an incredible indoor driving range, as well as simulators, putting greens and a short game area in play, ticket-holders can test their wits against eight skills challenges with some superb prizes on offer, from holidays to hardware and plenty in between.

In even better news, if you’re in the industry and thinking ‘I’ve missed my chance to exhibit at the Irish Golf Show’, never fear, applications for exhibitors are still being accepted with up to 100 leading brands expected to strut their stuff.

And in an extra special treat, golf balls won’t be the only thing flying on the day. For those interested in planes, there will also be a private aviation event taking place at Weston Aerodrome sure to get the pulses racing.

The Irish Golf Show will be delivered by the team behind the successful British Golf Show, which has enjoyed four editions since first launching in 2018. It was initially planned that the inaugural Irish Golf Show would take place in 2020, however, due to the pandemic, that date was pushed out to this year, and Event Director Alex Ayling is keen to make up for lost time when festivities tee off in March.

“Off the back of the success of the British Golf Show, we’re delighted to have the belated opportunity to bring the inaugural Irish Golf Show to Dublin in March,” said Ayling.

“The Irish Golf Show will offer visitors the chance to experience the leading brands and products up close and personal, all under one roof.

“At a venue like Weston Airport, and with the support of McGuirks Golf and Irish Golfer, we can guarantee a fun day out for all the family. With car parking free on the day, as well as admission for kids under-16, we hope to see as many people there as possible for the Irish Golf Show 2023.”
