Valerie Clancy saved her best until last as she fired a final round of 68 to help Indiana claim a top-10 finish at the Evie Odom Invitational.

The Killarney woman claimed a share of 14th place in the individual leaderboard on four-over-par.

Three birdies in four holes around the turn helped Clancy move up the standings and her two-under 68 was bettered only by teammate Alexis Florio who fired a six-under 64.

The Mitchelstown native who is in her junior year recovered from a dropped shot on the seventh to post birdies on the eighth, ninth and eleventh holes.

Indiana finished 10th on thirty-over, 27 shots off eventual winners College of Charlston while Clancy shot a 54-hole total of four-over in an impressive showing with rounds of 75, 71 and 68.

It was a double for College of Charlston as Emma Schimpf shot a final round of 65 to win by two shots on nine-under-par, as she posted all three rounds in the 60s.
