It was stop number two for the Irish Golfer 2022 event series on Friday as the team made their way to Rathsallagh Golf & Country Club in Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow.

A first time venue for the event series, Friday of a bank holiday weekend seemed a fitting time to be in attendance and with the weather co-operating exceptionally it turned into a feast of golf and sunshine for all.

The course at Rathsallagh has undergone many changes in recent times and for those who haven’t visited, it’s truly a must play.  The opening hole, index 1, which plays short of the river (or over if you’re a big hitter) proved the most testing and there were a few nervy tee shots!
