Powerscourt Golf Club will host an Open Team Event to mark Ireland’s newest public holiday on Friday, March 18th, 2022.
With spring sure to be in fully swing by then, golfers are set to flock to the fairways in their droves to take advantage of warmer weather and the Open Team Event present players with a super opportunity to visit Powerscourt West with plenty of prizes on offer.
“Saint Patrick’s Day traditionally tees off the golf season in Ireland and is a day golfers look forward to. This year though we will get an extra opportunity to get out and play with the new public holiday,” said Powerscourt Golf Club’s General Manager, Gavin Hunt launching the open event.
“To mark the occasion, golfers have a chance to win a four-ball a month here at Powerscourt in addition to the chance to win some really great prizes in our Sensational Spring Open Team Event.
“Over the past two years, everybody, not just golfers, have missed out on many things we sometimes take for granted, meeting up with family, going out with friends or going on holiday.
“Our golf event on the 18th of March is a chance to reconnect, have fun and enjoy a competitive round on our stunning West course.”
