This morning has seen the launch of an exciting new partnership agreement between European Tour Golfer Niall Kearney and one of Ireland’s most exciting new tech businesses, Wayflyer. A deal brokered by Frontier Sports Management.

Kearney is one of Ireland’s most talented golfers and last year completed an outstanding season on the European Tour (now the DP World Tour), which saw him record two top-10’s and another three top-25 finishes in only 15 starts. Kearney will be looking to build on that momentum this season as he goes in search of more strong finishes in order to lock down his full playing privileges to the DP World Tour.

Wayflyer was founded in 2019 by Aidan Corbett and Jack Pierse, and provides e-commerce merchants with a range of financing and marketing analytics tools to help them access working capital, improve cash flow and drive sales. This is a significant partnership deal in the context of the Irish sponsorship market and through Kearney, gives Wayflyer access to the newly formed DP World Tour – a global product that is played across 5 continents and broadcast into over 650m households a year.

Chris Best (Head of Talent at FSM), stated: “It’s fantastic to see a really exciting Irish business like Wayflyer supporting Irish Talent. This partnership will allow Niall to focus on performing to the best of his ability on the course. The mutual passion for Golf on both sides of this partnership will allow us to get the most out of it!”

Jack Pierse (Co-founder of Wayflyer), added: “We have a track record of backing people and businesses on the road to success. Niall is a really talented golfer and we are only delighted to support him on his journey. We look forward to working with Niall and being part of his story.”

Royal Dublin professional Kearney finished by saying: “It’s fantastic to be in partnership with Wayflyer, they are a really exciting homegrown Irish business and they match my ambition to be successful. Looking forward to the future.”

Wayflyer join Titleist, Guardian Warm Roof and Hutton & Meade as one of Niall’s partners. Kearney will be starting his 22/23 season imminently, a start which was disrupted by COVID. We look forward to watching his progress
