Golf fans will be given the opportunity to attend The 2021 Senior Open Presented by Rolex, Europe’s only Senior Major Championship, should the reopening of outdoor golfing events to spectators in England return later this year.

There remains cautious optimism that a certain level of spectator attendance will be permitted and therefore, related to that, a range of flexible Early Bird ticket options for the event at Sunningdale Golf Club from July 22-25 are on sale now.

All tickets for the Championship at the stunning Berkshire venue will be subject to UK Government health guidelines, with a comprehensive refund policy in place should spectators not be able to take up their place on the Old Course due to on-going COVID restrictions. A full FAQ can be found here.

The Old Course at Sunningdale, which is regularly voted in the top three courses in England, will play host to the world’s best over-50s golfers later this year after the Championship was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.

In the last edition of the Championship in 2019, at Royal Lytham & St Annes, Germany’s Bernhard Langer won his fourth Senior Open title after battling the conditions to secure a two-stroke victory from Englishman Paul Broadhurst.

Early Bird ticket prices for the 2021 Senior Open will begin at £15 for the Wednesday practice day, increasing to £25 for the first day of the Championship on Thursday. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are priced at £30 while the cost of a ticket for the final day’s play on Sunday will be £33. Early Bird prices for a season ticket, offering access to all four Championship days plus the practice day, is priced at £80. Tickets can be purchased by visiting https://senioropen2021.eventbrite.co.uk.

The only official sales channel to purchase tickets for The 2021 Senior Open Presented by Rolex is via the ticketing platform Eventbrite. The resale of tickets on unofficial platforms contravenes the European Tour’s ticket terms and conditions and such sales render the ticket void.
