Golf fans will be given the opportunity to be first in line to attend the 2021 BMW PGA Championship, the third Rolex Series event of the 2021 Race to Dubai, should the reopening of outdoor golfing events to spectators in England return later this year.

There remains cautious optimism that a certain level of spectator attendance will be permitted and therefore, related to that, a range of flexible Early Bird ticket options for the event at Wentworth Club from September 9-12, will go on sale from Friday May 7 at 14:00 BST.

Fans who purchased tickets for the 2020 edition of the prestigious event but could not attend due to COVID restrictions, as well as those who register their interest for tickets in advance, will have 24-hour priority access to a package which includes guaranteed access to the 18th green grandstand.

A percentage of the tickets available for the BMW PGA Championship will be donated to key frontline workers in recognition of their dedicated work throughout the pandemic.

All tickets for the September showpiece at the prestigious Surrey venue will be subject to UK Government health guidelines, with a comprehensive refund policy in place should spectators not be able to take up their place on the West Course due to on-going COVID restrictions. A full FAQ can be found here.

The spectacular West Course will once again host some of the biggest stars of world golf in the final counting event for qualification to Padraig Harrington’s European Ryder Cup team, who will attempt to retain the famous trophy against the United States, two weeks later at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin.

Last year, Englishman Tyrrell Hatton claimed his first BMW PGA Championship title and his fourth Rolex Series title overall, climbing into the top ten of the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time in his career in the process – where he has since remained.

Early Bird ticket prices for the 2021 Championship will begin at £12 for Tuesday’s practice round, while prices for Wednesday’s BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am Day start at £18. Early Bird tickets for Thursday’s opening round start at £35, tickets for Friday and Saturday begin at £47 while tickets for Sunday’s final round start at £52. Concessions are available for OAPs and students.

A variety of premium experience and hospitality tickets are also available on the ticketing page, or alternatively contact the European Tour’s dedicated Hospitality Sales Team, who will be happy to answer any queries and discuss the various hospitality options, on hospitalitysales@europeantour.com or +44 (0) 1344 840681.

The only official sales channel to purchase tickets for the 2021 BMW PGA Championship is via the ticketing platform Eventbrite. The resale of tickets on unofficial platforms contravenes the European Tour’s ticket terms and conditions and such sales render the ticket void.
