Wie West set to step away from golf

Michelle Wie West will step away from the LPGA Tour but fell short of confirming a retirement from the game of golf. The 32-year old former US Women’s Open champion will compete in next week’s $10m Major at Pine Needles and also the following year’s US Women’s Open at...

With four events done and dusted following the latest at Dromoland Castle, the Nature Valley Order of Merit is taking shape.

The series has thus far taken us to Cork GC, Luttrellstown Castle, The K Club and Dromoland Castle and with the next event at Carton House (Aug 16th) now cancelled due to Covid-19 travel restrictions in the region your next opportunity to influence your position will be at PGA National Ireland Slieve Russell on Friday August 28th.

As ever, your four best scores across the season count towards the Order of Merit and the top 10 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will join us at the K Club to compete for the Champion Golfer 2020 title on the Palmer Ryder Cup course.

Competitions are singles stableford and are open to all with a GUI/ILGU handicap with over €5,000 worth of prizes up for grabs at each event & first tee announcements for all players.
