The Straffan Golf Club Irish PGA Pro-Am 2020, sponsored by CFM Group Business Insurance, marks the official launch of the newly renamed golf club at The K Club.

On July 10, The Straffan Golf Club at The K Club is officially launched, partnering with the PGA Irish region to launch the first Pro-Am in Ireland this year, sponsored by CFM Group Business Insurance.

The K Club is delighted to host two Irish PGA Pro-Ams this summer, the first on the official launch date of The Straffan Golf Club on Friday July 10 on the newly renamed Palmer South course, the fantastic inland links course designed by Arnold Palmer which has played host to the European Open on three occasions.

Speaking about the forthcoming Pro-Am in July, The K Club owner Michael Fetherston says, “I am honoured to welcome the first PGA Pro-Am of the year to our newly launched Straffan Golf Club. The Palmer South course is in superb condition and we are delighted to bring this inaugural event here. The teams at The Straffan Club and The K Club would like to particularly thank Paul Kelly and CFM Group Business Insurance for their generous sponsorship.”

The second PGA Pro-Am is on Sunday August 23, to be held on the newly renamed Palmer North course, the spectacular Palmer-designed parkland course ranked regularly in the top three in Ireland, formerly known as the Ryder Cup course.

At €700 per team of 1 pro and three amateurs, registration is available now on www.kclub.ie for the first Straffan Golf Club Irish PGA Pro-Am on July 10, with the additional option to register as a package for both Pro-Ams for €1,200 per team, with priority given to joint registrations. Registration will open separately on July 10 for The K Club Irish PGA Pro-Am taking place on the Palmer North course in August.

With professional goody bags on arrival, breakfast or lunch and dinner with prize-giving in the handsome Legacy Suite, the prize of a car for a hole in one and exceptional five-star accommodation offers available from €184 in The K Club, see www.kclub.ie for full details and application forms.
