Luttrellstown Castle provides stern test for Irish Golfer Event Series

The latest instalment of the Irish Golfer Events series took place at Luttrellstown Castle Golf Club in North Dublin and as we’ve come to expect, it was a roaring success.

The superb parkland layout at Luttrellstown provided a stern test of golf with course conditioning, green speeds and overall presentation coming in for high praise from the competitors.

As ever the event was hotly contested and the winners were;

Category #1 (Gents Up to 11 Handicap)
1st Place – John Healy 39 pts (4 h’cap) – Taylormade M5 Driver + GRAND FINAL
2nd Place – Paul Whelan 38 pts (4 h’cap) – Taylormade M5 Three-wood – BB6
3rd Place – Kevin Madden 38 pts (10 h’cap) BB6 – Hi-Toe Wedge
Category #2 (Gents 12-24 handicap )
1st Place – John Crowe 39 pts (15 h’cap) – Taylormade M6 Driver + GRAND FINAL
2nd Place – Mark Kavanagh 37 pts (19 h’cap) – Taylormade M6 Three-wood
3rd Place – David Coleman 36 pts (21 h’cap) BB9 – Hi-Toe Wedge
