With ten events still remaining in the series the Irish Golfer Events team will be busy in in the coming weeks with events at Moyvalley (team event) on July 31st, Portumna on the 7th of August, Slieve Russell on the 14th, Luttrellstown Castle on the 23rd and the two-day event at Narin & Portnoo and Donegal from the 26th-27th of August.

While the prizes for the team event at Moyvalley are slightly different as we offer prizes for teams from 1st-5th place. all other events offer the latest and greatest on the prize table with TaylorMade once again our brand of choice with their new Qi40 line of clubs and iGolfers now also have the opportunity to participate in the series within their own category for the across the 2026 season.
All-in-all this year’s series is 18 events before the Grand Final and each stop comes with all the usual Irish Golfer trimmings including €5,000 worth of prizes up for grabs at each event, as well as first tee announcements, a welcome gift, nutritional snacks, drinks and branded tees and pencils.
The Moyvalley Team Event will be 1/10th of the combined team handicap and there are other T&C’s for that day also but for all other events the main categories for prizes are; Men up to 11 Playing Handicap, Men 12-24 Playing Handicap and Ladies up to 36 Playing Handicap and now iGolf is listed separately with the prizes on offer there correlated to the number of players in the category on the day. There’s also the added bonus of Nearest the Pin competitions sure to test your wits and a Best Gross prize for the low handicappers.
As ever, competitions are singles stableford and are open to all players with a Golf Ireland handicap index. With 14 guaranteed prize winners sharing over €5,000 worth of prizes at each event, don’t miss your chance to be part of Ireland’s largest amateur golf series. Three category winners from each event will also qualify for the Grand Final where we will crown our Irish Golfer Champion for 2026. If you don’t qualify for the Grand Final as one of the category winners from the events automatically, you can still qualify through the FLOGAS Order of Merit. Your best five scores across the year will be counted and the the Moyvalley Team event allocates 36 points to each player for the OoM. At the end of the season, the Top 25 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will also win a place at the Grand Final 2026.
The FLOGAS Order of Merit will also decide the Grand Champion for 2026, with the Grand Final event scores added to your qualifying Order of Merit tally, so consistency and ability across the season will be rewarded!
