We are delighted to announce that our Irish Golfer Event Series returns bigger and better than ever in 2023 with new venues, stacked prizes and great fun promised for all our competitors this year.
2022 was a record season for Irish Golfer Events as we swept across the country to sold out venues before the Series concluded last October at the Grand Final in the K Club.
This year’s Series will take in a whopping 16 events before the Grand Final, and each stop will come with all the usual Irish Golfer trimmings, with €5,000 worth of prizes up for grabs at each event, as well as first tee announcements, a welcome gift of a two-ball pack of TaylorMade Tour response golf balls, an Irish Golfer branded hat, nutritional snacks, drinks and branded tees and pencils.
This year’s prizes are headlined by the new and improved TaylorMade Stealth 2 with our usual three categories returning to fight for the spoils (Men up to 11 Handicap Index, Men 12-24 H.I. and Ladies up to 36 H.I.), plus the added bonus of Nearest the Pin and Long Drive competitions sure to test your wits.
As ever, competitions are singles stableford and are open to all players with a Golf Ireland handicap index. With 12 guaranteed prize winners sharing over €5,000 worth of prizes at each event, don’t miss your chance to be part of Ireland’s largest amateur golf series. The three category winners from each event will also qualify for the Grand Final where we will crown our Irish Golfer Champion for 2023.
And if you don’t qualify for the Grand Final as one of the category winners from the events automatically, you can still qualify through the Nature Valley Order of Merit. Your best four scores across the year will be counted and the Top 10 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will win a place at the Grand Final 2023.
