Event 5 of the nationwide series of 14 Irish Golfer Events took place yesterday at the stunning Galway Bay golf club.
On one of the best weather days of the summer so far it was two ladies from Galway that stole the show. Ciara Lynagh from Bearna Golf Club claimed the category 1 bracket with a score of 33 points.
The scoring in category 2 was a little higher with Melissa Madden from Athenry Golf Club claiming top spot with a great score of 39 points.
Both ladies qualify for our Grand Final where all category winners from our 14 events will battel it out in the tournament of champions at the K Club (Palmer Ryder Cup Course) on Sunday the 14th of October.
