The article overstates the idea of a universal “pro golf ecosystem” where opportunities naturally extend into retirement. That structure exists in men’s golf because of Champions Tour pathways, broadcast recycling of legacy players, and sustained commercial demand for past champions. The women’s game does not currently have the same depth of post-career visibility or competitive infrastructure, so drawing that equivalence is misleading.
