Séamus Power enjoyed another mega payday as the $20m Wells Fargo Championship delivered the riches as part of the PGA Tour’s designated series for 2023.

Four rounds at Quail Hollow saw Power finish in a share of 18th place at seven-under, good enough for a $285,000 cheque as the West Waterford man consolidated his position on this season’s FedExCup standings.

Power sits 13th on the season-long race having seen his earnings this term reach $3,349,282 while his PGA Tour career-earnings are already over the $10.5 mark… not bad for a man who was making his money with mini-tour cash games just a few years ago.

In truth, anyone making cuts at these designated events is winning – even Nick Hardy at eight-over par picked up $41,800 for propping up the field.
