Ireland’s Stephanie Meadow finished in 6th place at the Florida Natural Charity Classic on the Symetra Tour following he recent return from injury.

Meadow, who had been well placed heading to the final day after rounds of 73 and 70, returned an excellent final round 69, for a four under total, which included five birdies, including one down the last. Back-to-back- bogeys on 11 and 12 put paid to her charge but she bounced back with another birdie on 13 to show she’s got the fight and the right mental attitude back once again.

The event was won by Lauren Kim on 10 under par after rounds of 69, 70 and an amazing final round 63 to take the $18,750 first prize. Meadow took home a cheque for $4,587 for her efforts but also the confidence of playing well on the final day and knowing she can produce it when it matters most.
