“We come together for JP and for him only.”  The words of 15-time Major winner Tiger Woods who will lead a star-studded line-up for the sixth renewal of the celebrated JP McManus Pro-Am.  The event first teed off over 30 years ago at Limerick Golf Club, raising funds...

Both the ladies and girls teams claimed victory of Wales on day two of the Internationals at Little Aston and now it’s all down to the final day against England for both sides.

Two strong English teams stand in the way of Ireland doing the double after successfully negotiating a win over Scotland on the opening day  both Irish teams scored a win over Wales on day two. While the Irish Girls’ were victorious in 2016, the last winning Ladies team was in 2003, with Maria Dunne (Skerries) playing a key role. However a double Ladies and Girls’ win in the same year has never been done before, a feat all players will be hoping to change today.

The Irish Girls’ face their English counterparts at 8:00amwith the ladies foursomes matches beginning at 9:00am.

The teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales compete against each other in individual matches. Each match consists of three foursomes in the morning and six singles in the afternoon.
