The €499 asking price for daily passes to the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor raised serious eyebrows and brought no shortage of criticism when it was announced earlier this week, but that hasn’t put the nation off.

Tickets went on sale in an exclusive priority window for pre-registered Irish residents at 11am this morning, and the daily ticket allocation sold out in less than an hour.

Practice round tickets and weekly passes at a cost of €1,999 also sold out in the four hours following the sale beginning, meaning all 150,000 who pre-registered would’ve had the opportunity to ensure they were present at some stage during the week of September 13-19, 2027.

Those unsuccessful in this window will have a second opportunity to purchase general admission daily tickets in the full public ballot which opens to fans from around the world on Wednesday June 3.

Richard Atkinson, the European Tour Group’s Chief Ryder Cup Officer, said: “The demand from fans across the island of Ireland has been unprecedented. We know that Irish golf fans are amongst the most enthusiastic in the world and this is yet another reminder of that.

“We also look forward to the start of June when, in addition to Irish residents getting a second chance, fans from around the world will get their opportunity to be part of this great sporting occasion.”

It will be the second time the Ryder Cup has been held in Ireland, following The K Club in 2006.

All fans wishing to attend the 2027 Ryder Cup will need to have a registered ticket account. To sign up, please click here. Full details of the application process will then be sent to you directly via your registered account.

Only tickets secured via official Ryder Cup channels will be accepted. Details of how to secure official accommodation will also be provided as part of the ticket application process.
