PGA Tour
Shane Lowry will be hoping he can get over his Masters Sunday hangover quickly when he tees it up in the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head’s Harbour Town Golf Links.
Lowry has two top-10 finishes in his last five starts at this event as he bids for his first victory since the 2022 BMW PGA Championship. Another opportunity slipped away from the 2019 Open champion last week at Augusta National when he slumped to a final round of 80 at the Masters when he was just two shots off the lead through 54 holes.
It was the second straight year that Lowry failed to break 80 on Masters Sunday although he responded well with a T18 at Harbour Town last year and would like to do something similar if not better this time around.
LPGA Tour
Leona Maguire, Stephanie Meadow and Lauren Walsh tee it up at the JM Eagle LA Championship. Maguire enters the week back in form after a T2 finish at the Aramco Championship a fortnight ago which also saw Walsh go well.
Ladies European Tour
Áine Donegan may have to do without her clubs this week at the Joburg Ladies Open as the South African swing gets underway on the Ladies European Tour. The Lahinch woman arrived in Randpark Golf Club but her clubs did not follow suit.
Donegan is joined in the field by Anna Foster and Olivia Mehaffey. Mehaffey will be used to the conditions having played a lot of Sunshine Ladies Tour golf recently.
Sunshine Tour
Liam Grehan is in action after retaining his Sunshine Tour status at Q-School earlier this month and he will look to continue his momentum at the Mediclinic Invitational.
Alps Tour
Sam Murphy, Hugh Foley, Robert Moran and Cathal MacCanna tee it up at the Dreamland Open from Sunday.
LIV Golf
LIV goes ahead as it stands with Mexico City playing host to what is rumoured to be the Saudi backed tour’s last hurrah.
Tom McKibbin and Graeme McDowell are in the field.
