Beth Coulter has been named as a WGCA All-American after an excellent junior year at Arizona State.
Coulter becomes the second Irish golfer to win an All-American at ASU after Olivia Mehaffey earned the honour between 2017 and 2020.
The Kirkistown Castle star has enjoyed a breakthrough year at collegiate level registering two runner-up finishes in 2025 while the highlight of her season so far was an appearance at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
The 21-year-old also broke into the top-50 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings for the first time as she helped Arizona State to two tournament victories.
Redshirt sophomore Patience Rhodes landed on the WGCA Second Team, while Coulter and Paula Schulz-Hanssen earned honorable mention distinction. Rhodes was one of only 14 female collegiate golfers at the Division I level that was selected to the second team. Schulz-Hanssen and Coulter are two of 24 to garner honorable mention status.
Missy Farr-Kaye has had an All-American in each of her ten seasons in Tempe. This is the 12th time three Sun Devils have earned All-American honors in the same season and first time since 2020 when future pros Linn Grant, Alessandra Fanali, and Mehaffey were recipients of the honor. 19 total golfers have been named All-Americans in the Missy Farr-Kaye era.
“We are thrilled that Patience, Beth, and Paula received this recognition,” Coach Farr-Kaye reflected. “To have three of the five members of our roster be selected as All-Americans is a testament to the strength of our program. This trio worked extremely hard to improve their game and I am glad to see it pay off with an achievement like this.”
