John Ross Galbraith goes into the final round of the Clutch Pro Tour’s Al Houara Trophy in Tangier in a two-way share of the lead at -13, while Rob Brazill is also in the hunt just three back.

After an opening two-under round of the 70, the Whitehead man caught fire on day two, carding 11 birdies without dropping a single shot to surge up the leaderboard and end the day tied with Welshman Luke Harries.

He was quickly out of the traps, birdieing the opening two holes and then adding another on four, and he refused to let up, adding a further three-in-a-row to close out an opening nine he covered in 30 strokes.

Another trio of birdies came on 11, 12 and 13, and two more on 15 and 17 saw him sign for an incredible 11-under 61, the lowest round of the week by two clear shots.

Galbraith captured his maiden Clutch Pro win last September and currently sits 27th in the Order of Merit after four events in 2025.

Brazill, playing his second full season as a pro, followed his opening 68 with a 66 that included seven birdies and a single bogey on day two to move to -10, and he goes into the final round in a four-way tie for seventh.

Jack Madden (-6) and Paul McBride (-5) are both hoping to push their way into the top 10, while James Sugrue and Daniel Mulligan share 45th on three-under, with Brandon St. John on +1 completing the Irish contingent.
