Anna Foster, Annabel Wilson and Sara Byrne will all play on the Ladies European Tour next season after they secured Category 12 status for 2025.
The trio came through the Final Stage of Qualifying School with flying colours in Morocco to finish inside the top-20 and they will join their former Ireland teammate Lauren Walsh on the LET full time in the new year.
It was pretty plain sailing for Elm Park’s Foster who seems to have gone up a level since winning the Irish Women’s Amateur Championship in June before reaching the quarter finals of the R&A Women’s Amateur in Portmarnock a week later.
Foster qualified in a share of sixth place on seventeen-under-par after rounds of 71, 71, 65, 70 and 69 at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech.
Meanwhile, Castlerock’s Wilson completed her comeback from a difficult opening 75 with rounds of 67, 68, 69 and 69 to share ninth place on fifteen-under-par to complete a season where she has looked back to the form of the 2021 Curtis Cup and semi-final of the US Women’s Amateur following a recovery from an ACL injury.
Dromoland Castle star Byrne had a stress free day of three birdies and fifteen pars for a final round of 69 after opening with efforts of 68, 72, 70 and 72 for a twelve-under total and 15th place.
It caps off a terrific season for Byrne who went unbeaten as Great Britain and Ireland clinched the Curtis Cup against the USA in Sunningdale in September before she turned professional.
There was also joy for Irish amateur Canice Screene who closed with a one-under 72 for a six-under total.
Screene did not finish inside the top-20, missing out by four shots but she will have a few starts coming her way on the Ladies European Tour while she will have strong status on the LET Access Series next term, the feeder tour to the Ladies European Tour and one which saw Walsh, Byrne and Wilson impress in recent times.
Olivia Mehaffey had previously missed the 72-hole cut.
