Leona Maguire has broken into the top-10 in the Rolex World Rankings for the first time in her career making her the highest ranked Irishwoman ever.

Maguire has climbed to a career-high 10th in the world following her 11th place finish at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Although she was disappointed not to see out the win having held the 54-hole advantage, the Cavan woman has enjoyed an excellent month, winning the Meijer LPGA Classic for her second LPGA Tour win which saw her reach 12th place in the world rankings.

A truly great performance from both Irish ladies. Trying to win two in a row was very hard to expect from Leona.
