Clubs to Hire, one of the World’s largest golf rental businesses recently announced plans to franchise a minimum of 15 new locations for its ever popular service. Having experienced a strong bounceback following the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the business has recently invested over €1,000,000 in its 17 locations and will now offer a franchise model in other key golf locations across Europe, Africa and the US.
Tony Judge CEO said, “Offering a franchise model is a key and natural step for the business, as we know there is pent up demand in key locations where we currently do not have a presence. We are delighted to announce that this month we will open a new franchise offering in Capetown and Mauritius, with many more planned to open over the coming months.
Our focus is looking after our 54,000 members who use our service year-in-year-out. We plan to grow our membership base by offering more services and more choice”. Clubs to Hire already hires 40,000 sets a year and the new initiative will add greater choice and more flexibility to our end users.
Judge said “Clients now want convenience and good service and products, we have especially seen this at our Malaga location. In the past we used to operate at the airport but we changed the model after covid to delivery and our clients are loving the convenience, choice and excellent service. We have a clear plan of where we wish to offer the service and we would welcome interest from individuals or companies who have a like minded approach to looking after our clients”.
Clubs to Hire has appointed Mr. Kevin Stowe to spearhead the franchise model and he recently agreed terms on the South African and Mauritius deals. Mr Stowe has a strong service and golf background and fully understands the needs and requirements of travelling golfers.
Companies or individuals operating at key golf spots in Spain, Ireland, UK, US, France or Greece and who are interested in getting onboard the CTH expansion plan, should contact Kevin Stowe at the details below.
Clubs to Hire was established by Judge in 2010, opening its first location at Faro Airport, the gateway to Portugal’s primary tourist hub in the Algarve. Over the following years, it expanded into other resort destinations in Southern Europe, Africa, Asia, with most of its customers flying in from the Northern European Countries.
