Gavin Moynihan showed welcomed green shoots of form after securing a share of fourth place at the MENA Tour’s second Egyptian Swing event at Madinaty Golf Club.

Moynihan followed up successive rounds of 68 with a one-over par final round 71 to record a four-under par 54-hole tally.

Moynihan banks $2,850 for the result but more important still is a bit of confidence for the former European Tour player who enjoyed a maiden victory at the Golf Sixes alongside Paul Dunne in 2018.

Dubliner Paul McBride was the only other Irish finisher on the week, backing up his T5 finish last week with a share of 16th.

McBride was bogey-free on Tuesday, carding three birdies in a superb 67 that saw him finish in the red for the week at minus-one.
