World No. 1 Rory McIlroy has given us a sneak peak of a section of what is an impressive trophy showroom within his palatial Bears Club abode in Florida.

McIlroy used the occasion of the receipt of a third FedEx Cup trophy to post a snap on his Twitter account.

Although first thoughts are that with the trophies laid out as they are on his pool table, there must not be room on the nearby trophy display wall for a place for the rewards in finishing a year as PGA No. 1.

No, surely that is not the case.

If you look closer at the photograph you’ll notice there’s six Ryder Cup team trophies from his first European team appearance in 2010 to last year.

There is also his gleaming 2013 US Open winning trophy, a Wells Fargo Championship trophy along with his latest success and that being holding onto his CJ Cup trophy,

On the right side of the picture is a WGC trophy, and with McIlroy capturing three different WGC titles.  There’s also a smaller version of the Race to Dubai money-list winning trophy on show at the top and to the right of the WGC trophy.

And though we don’t see all of the rewards from a career already boasting 35 professional victories worldwide, golf fans the world over will be wishing that McIlroy will eventually get to place the Masters winning ‘clubhouse’ trophy to what is already a stunning collection.
