Amundi, Europe’s leading asset manager, has been unveiled as the Premium Partner for next month’s KPMG Women’s Irish Open set for Dromoland Castle from September 22-25.

No stranger to the golf space, Amundi is the proud title sponsor of the Evian Championship, one of the five women’s majors, and its partnership with the Women’s Irish Open is a significant coup for the event.

“We are proud to be the exclusive asset management partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open,” said David Harte, CEO of Amundi Ireland.

“Professional golf in Ireland is at an all-time high at the moment, so the return of this Ladies European Tour event is timely and we are delighted to be a part of it.”

Amundi has supported women’s golf since 2011 and the company has pledged its long-term commitment to the game, highlighted by its support of European women golfers over the next five years to enable them to succeed on the international scene.

Many of those European stars will be in action at Dromoland Castle in September where home favourite and LPGA Tour winner, Leona Maguire headlines the field.

With more exciting player announcement expected in the coming days, and a €400,000 prize fund behind the event, the KPMG Women’s Irish Open promises to be an unmissable occasion on the Irish sporting calendar.

After a ten-year absence, the tournament returns for its 16th edition and boasts a past winners’ list that includes current Solheim Cup Captain, Suzann Pettersen, England’s Laura Davies and the 2021 Solheim Cup winning Captain, Catriona Matthew.

Tickets to see the stars of the LET in action at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open are on sale now at www.womensirishopen.ie. Four-day tickets are priced at €35 while single-day tickets will cost €15. Under 16s attending the event will also be admitted free of charge.
