Douglas golfer Jack Murphy is the 2022 Munster Under-18 Boys’ champion.

Murphy finished the 54-hole event, six shots clear of the field. On -3, he was also the only player to finish under par.

It’s been a brilliant 2022 for the Cork teenager so far. He also won the Leinster Under-16 Boys Open in April.

Starting the final day five shots clear, a final round of 70 saw Murphy finish six clear of Thomas Abom (+3)

2022 Boys’ Close champion Tom Cafferky finished in third place on +4.
