It’s coming to a close! Yes there are now only two events remaining in the Irish Golfer Events Series for 2023 which means only two more chances for you to influence your position on the Flogas Order of Merit, or to win a category and qualify for the Grand Final.
The first of these remaining events is this Friday, September 29th at The Heritage Golf Resort and then we move on to Powerscourt (West) on October 15th and there are still spaces available for both days HERE.
Teeing up at an Irish Golfer Event also comes with all the usual trimmings such as first tee announcements, a welcome gift of a two-ball pack of TaylorMade Tour response golf balls, nutritional snacks, drinks and branded pitch mark repairers, tees and pencils. And there’s the added incentive of over €5,000 in prizes on offer on the day!
2022 was a record season for Irish Golfer Events as we swept across the country to sold out venues before the Series concluded last October at the Grand Final in the K Club.
This year’s prizes are headlined by the new and improved TaylorMade Stealth 2 with our usual three categories returning to fight for the spoils (Men up to 11 Handicap Index, Men 12-24 H.I. and Ladies up to 36 H.I.), plus the added bonus of Nearest the Pin competitions boasting killer prizes.
As ever, competitions are singles stableford and are open to all players with a Golf Ireland handicap index. With 12 guaranteed prize winners sharing over €5,000 worth of prizes at each event, don’t miss your chance to be part of Ireland’s largest amateur golf series. The three category winners from each event will also qualify for the Grand Final back at the K Club where we will crown our Irish Golfer Champion for 2023.
And if you don’t qualify for the Grand Final as one of the category winners from the events automatically, you can still qualify through the Flogas Order of Merit. Your best four scores across the year will be counted and the Top 10 players not already qualified for the Grand Final will win a place at the Grand Final 2023. So what are you waiting for?
Entry is for €60 for members of host clubs or €75 for guests.
