After the overwhelming success of last year’s events, the children of Crumlin Hospital desperately need our support once more.

Preparations are well underway for the Crumlin-CMRF Golf Day set for the Lahinch Golf Club, Friday October 26th, in aid of the children of Crumlin Hospital.

Having raised a remarkable  €35,000 plus across two events in 2017, 88 players have already confirmed for the October showpiece with some wonderful prizes on offer.

Organisers have already embarked on their journey to obtain sponsorship from businesses, golf clubs, hotels, holiday destinations and anywhere that is prepared to help the children in Crumlin Hospital and the door is always open for more support.

The event will once again be an international one with a team from America already on board. Generous sponsors have already committed to provide prizes to a value of  €17,700 for the event with much more hopefully to come.

All of us here at Irish Golfer Magazine would encourage you take up a slot on a tee-sheet that won’t take long to fill- 9.00am-1.30pm-available now to book the pristine links.

With four-ball prizes on offer across some of the finest clubs in the country, 4 VIP tickets to The Coronas upcoming gig in the 3 Arena and a promised original World Cup Tie from the first Rugby World Cup in the 1980’s up for grabs at auction, the event already looks on course to raise more money than last year.

For those wanting to get in early, you can start your bidding now with offers sent to  purchasingconsulting@gmail.com. John Donnelly will keep you posted on the value of bids received and will release the tickets in Mid-June to the highest bidder.

Halpenny Golf and Cassidy Travel  will once again be providing valuable golf shop and travel vouchers and of course John Caulwell has arranged for  SPAR  to provide the goodies on the 1s t tee.

Potential tee-box sponsors are encouraged to get in touch with 16 holes still available while the importance of getting your own scorecard sponsored cannot be stressed enough.

For more information on any of the above, please call John Donnelly on 087 967 3535.
