Three Irish players made the cut at the European Ladies Amateur in Lausanne, Switzerland with Olivia Mehaffey (RCDL) the best placed in a tie for 15th place after a third round 73 had her on +1 for the event.

Jessica Ross (Clandeboye) was the next best placed player on +4 as she also returned  a third round 73 and sits in T41st. Castletroy’s Chloe Ryan in T53rd on +5 and unfortunately Julie McCarthy (Forrest Little) missed the cut to following a difficult third round 78.

The event is being led by home country player Albane Valenzuela who is on -11 after rounds of 70, 67 and 68 and she is seven shots clear of the field.
