Birdies on 15 and 17 lifted the Irish Girls and Women’s Close champion into a share of third place in France.
The 18-year-old is comfortably the leading Irishwoman with Douglas native Sara Byrne and Lahinch’s Aine Donegan back on three-over after opening rounds of 75.
Kate Lanigan is seven-over after a 79 while Aideen Walsh is a shot further back after an eight-over 80.
The top-60 and ties after 54 holes will progress into the fourth and final round.
