On this week’s edition of the podcast we look back on a great week for Irish golf as Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow challenged at Baltusrol, and Pádraig Harrington defended on the Champions Tour. At the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, Maguire threatened to go wire-to-wire once again before coming unstuck on Sunday. The Cavan star will no doubt learn from the experience and so too will Meadow who couldn’t wipe the smile from her face after securing a podium finish and the biggest cheque of her career. Pádraig Harrington has nothing left to prove and yet still he surprises after a back-nine 28 saw the Dubliner defend the DICK’s Sporting Goods Open. We discuss the merits of a Harrington Ryder Cup call-up and also recap a heap of golf elsewhere, including a great week for Douglas on the Irish amateur scene. As ever, we hope you enjoy the listen. Don’t forget to subscribe and let us know what you think.
