On this week’s edition of the podcast we round up another busy shift for the Irish around the tours with Stephanie Meadow’s latest LPGA Tour survival act receiving top billing. The Jordanstown pro left it late to sneak back inside the top-100 on the Race to CME Globe on the number at 100, thus ensuring her full LPGA Tour card for next year. Where Meadow revelled in the finish, Leona Maguire was left to rue a closing 76 having bolted to the first round lead. It was also a case of what might’ve been for Padraig Harrington who narrowly missed out on this week’s DP World Tour Championship. Remarkably, world number one Jon Rahm is among those opting out of the Dubai curtain closer. We discuss where that leaves the European Tour in the pecking order of the game’s elite. There was also the small matter of Bernard Langer defying his age and the odds to claim another Champions Tour Order of Merit title. As ever, we hope you enjoy the listen. Don’t forget to subscribe and let us know what you think.
